When it's day time, it just looks like any normal street. But when it turns to night time, it will be filled with lights shining brightly from hawker stalls from both sides of the street. Well, thats New Lane( name of the street)! It's one of the most popular places to eat in Penang I suppose. The place is always packed with food lovers! One of the best dishes there would be the 'Oh Chien' (Fried Oyster). I think you would be able to find almost every Penang hawker delicacy in just a lane. Like the old saying, ' A norm by day, a food heaven by night'

The best way to eat oysters is by tasting the 'Oh Chien' of New Lane
Fresh oysters served with eggs.
And now, you can choose to have your 'Oh Chien' wet or dry.. |

Homemade 'Lor Bak'
In the plate : Lor Bak, fish fillet, century egg, tofu.
Eaten best with it's special sauce. |

'Chee Cheong Chook'
Just look at those intestines...
I still do not dare to eat them till now! |
 |
'Char Kuey Tiaw' with a little help from the mini fan placed beside the wok
'Cooled' to perfection! |
